DiSTI Celebrates GL Studio’s Tenth Anniversary

The DiSTI Corporation announces the 10 year anniversary of its signature software product, GL Studio. First released in 2000, GL Studio was lauded as the first object-oriented human machine interface toolkit. Ten years later, GL Studio is the innovative flagship in DiSTI’s suite of powerful development tools. To celebrate a decade of GL Studio’s award-winning status, DiSTI is thanking the customers who have solidified that reputation with an outstanding promotion.

For a limited time only, current GL Studio customers can receive an additional development license at the GL Studio v1.0 release price. This price represents a savings of over 50% off the list price. The discounted license will even include support and maintenance for the first year. New customers ready to experience the increased productivity and ease of use that GL Studio offers, can also take part in this promotion by purchasing a GL Studio license at list price and adding a discounted license onto the purchase order.

GL Studio, a toolkit which enables the development of high-fidelity graphics, 3D simulations and fully interactive controls, has experienced impressive success during its 10 years. GL Studio earned multiple awards, including the “Success” distinction from the Small Business Innovative Research Program and the “Innovator” classification from Military Training Technology magazine in years 2007 through 2009.

Through the years, GL Studio has grown with technology and adapted to meet expanding market demands. In 2005, DiSTI added support for Embedded Systems with the GL Studio Safety Critical Embedded C++ (SCEC++) code generation option. In 2007, the GL Studio Java code generator was introduced, opening GL Studio content to deployment anytime, anywhere. This year, support for OpenGL ES and Apple’s iDevices was announced through the SCEC++ run-time libraries, allowing GL Studio content to be deployed on the iPad, iPhone and iPod Touch.

“The continued success of GL Studio comes from a loyal customer base that has supported our tools and new technologies with valuable suggestions and referrals,” remarked DiSTI President Joe Swinski. “This decade of award-winning status is truly a reflection of their dedication.”

This GL Studio promotional offer is only available from October 1, 2010 through December 31, 2010. Terms and conditions do apply to this limited time offer.
