SchmartBoard Signs German Distributor Watterott Electronic

SchmartBoard announced today the signing of German distributor Watterott Electronic to carry the line of SchmartBoard prototyping products.

SchmartBoard plans to sign a number of international distributors over the next two quarters.  The launch last quarter of SolderByNumbers.com has begun to create a need for better product availability of SchmartBoards for users outside of the U.S.  The new site shows visitors exactly where to solder components to build circuits on SchmartBoards.  This patent pending technology combined with SchmartBoard’s easy soldering solutions means that an influx of electronics “newbies” can build circuits using SchmartBoards.

“Watterott Electronic is a perfect distributor for SchmartBoard, said SchmartBoard VP of Marketing Neal Greenberg.  “They specialize in circuit development tools and they are small enough to assure that SchmartBoard has the focus to be a success in Germany.  We plan to sign new distributors in a number of important markets including Australia, Asia, South America and underserved parts of Europe.”

Watterott Electronic (www.watterott.com) currently supplies Europe with development boards, PCB supplies, JTAG products, soldering supplies, components and more.  The company feels that the SchmartBoard line will add significant value to its customer base by resolving a major issue, namely the need to make prototyping circuits easier, faster and less expensive.
