Fluid Research’s New CPM Tackles the Most Viscous Materials

Fluid Research, the leading innovator and manufacturer of precision dispensing equipment introduced their new Advantage CPM solution to dispense thick, pasty materials.

“The automotive prototyping industry has special needs, their prototyping involves dispensing the thick, viscous pastes,”  States Mark Sorensen, Regional Manager of Fluid Research Corporation, “A solution we’ve been providing their industry for quite a few years.  We actually had a customer walk through an automotive tour and saw our AdvantageAuto.  One thing lead to another and we now offer the Advantage CPM (Composite Paste Material); a dispensing solution that goes beyond any dispense machine ever created before.”

“This solution employs our eccentric screw pump technology; offering both positive displacement and pulsation-free flow of materials – this combination more than doubles the production output of other existing thick pasty systems.” Cites Sorensen, “We designed our Advantage CPM to offer higher flow with decreased pressure; assuring improved delivery of pastes like two-component urethane or epoxy resin systems.  The Advantage CPM will pump paste as fast as you can lay it down – don’t try that with the competition.”

The low pressure pump-down follower plate system empties material drums with nominal waste.  With the ever-increasing cost of materials, eliminating waste is key.

Fluid Research also recently introduced other new dispensing equipment, acquired a new facility to triple their manufacturing floor space, acquired new management staff, and added a new material testing lab.  Fluid Research is dedicated to educating its customers to the benefits of automation; from efficiency and consistency to health and safety; automation elevates these features to a level that cannot be obtained anywhere else.

Fluid Research Corporation was founded in 1996 to provide superior accuracy in dispensing single and multiple component adhesives, sealants and polymers.  The company currently holds multiple U.S. foreign patents for its proprietary technology, which uses progressing cavity pumps and sophisticated electronic controls in an extensive line of metering and dispensing systems.

Typically custom-engineered to user specifications, Fluid Research equipment can be found in a wide variety of industries, including automotive components, aerospace fabrication, electronics, solar energy systems, electrical power systems, polymer molding, chemical fastening, dome labeling, health and beauty, medical electronics, sporting goods, and filtration equipment.
